For the Generations to come, your Legacy.

The greatest legacy one can pass on to one’s children and grandchildren is not money or other material things accumulated in one’s life, but rather a legacy of character and faith.                         Billy Graham
Have you considered your legacy?  How will you be remembered once your life is over? What has been your impact?  Have you imparted wisdom to the next generation?  Are your children carrying on your character and love for others?  Legacy.
According to Joan  Moran in the Huffington Post, there are 5 key areas of having an impacting legacy.

 1. Support the People and Causes That are Important to You.
Care about people.  Advocate for the less fortunate, the “down and out”, the widows and the orphans.  Set an example of caring for others…you will leave a legacy and compassion!

2. Reflect and Decide What is Most Important in Your Life.
When you review your life’s journey, several ideas may come to mind: Did you grow and perhaps transform your life? make changes when you needed to, find your truth, inspire others, become a leader or influence others?  If so, Your legacy will live on.

3.  Share Your Blessings With Others.

Have you been blessed?  Do you have finances that could pull others out of dispair? open up creative opportunities, start a business, relive a debt???  Then out of your Blessings, bless others!!

4.  Be a Mentor to Others.
A mentor by definition is a more experienced or more knowledgeable person with an area of expertise. Everyone has some significant truth to impart to others that will guide less experienced people in life.  Pass on what you know, have experienced, and learned!

5. Pursue Your Passions Because They Are Infectious
Your passions are your legacy.

Passion comes from an outpouring of the interests and ideas that make a difference in your life.

Leaving a legacy is an important part of your life’s work. A legacy develops from a life dedicated to self-reflection and purpose. Your passions could ignite fresh passion in the next generation!

Let your Legacy serve as a roadmap for the next generation.
